Description
This is the first image in my new story titled Aimless Endeavor. We follow the journeys of a man lost in a frozen wasteland as he battles starvation, frostbite and madness. Each image will correspond with a journal entry. Here we go.
Day 10:
My father once said, "When confronted by the impossible, the impossible becomes possible". I do hope he was right. I have been stuck out her in this frozen hell for ten moons now and the starvation and cold has made my mind run rampant with devilish thoughts of never escaping this tundra. My lifelong companion, Cuichelm, passed away one night ago. Days before he fell into that eternal slumber he told me, "I once believed this great misfortune would lead me to my grave, but you have altered my determination". I lied to him. I told him that we would make it and he would see his children again but I was wrong. The frostbite is starting to get to me. I can no longer feel my fingers and holding on to my sword is becoming very difficult. I figure I should hang onto it in case I see any life at all. I have very little food left. I have been rationing the food I had on me the day we got lost, the ration is so small each day I barely even know I am eating anything. The starvation is driving me mad. I have lost all memory of how or why I am out here. I should probably be resting now instead of writing about this horrible situation I am in. Every night I have laid down and covered myself with my cloak and slept. When I wake I am completly covered by snow. This blizzard has been going on for the past 3 days and I am hoping it quits soon. Walking becomes no easy task when you are going into such a supernatural force like a blizzard. Hopefully I will be out of here soon. I must rest now, goodnight.
Creating this image has been one of the greatest accomplishments in my time using these programs. I am very proud of this and hope to be just as proud about the 4 others in the story. Although I do not get paid for doing art or anything it has become a passion of mine not just a hobby. I would like to thank all of you here at Renderosity for sharing this experiance with me.

This is good! The image might have been a bit darker and greyer, to enhance the idea of the snowstorm. The impression of a weary traveller is downright excellent, and the snowy landscape is great. Great story too!
