This is way kewl!! I love sci fi so it's right up my alley!!

works on an artistic level, but if those munitions go off that close to the rebel fighter, the word 'fratricide' comes to mind..;) I think you could add to the drama by fewer rockets, and Space Storie in freestuff has a gun 'blast' that would work for the exhaust..you got it going, keep at it.

Pakled, the missiles come out as a unit as far as I can tell. I'll play with the model a bit more and see if there might be a hidden dial for the number of missiles. I'll check the Space Storie for the blast, and thanks for the tip!

Like the image. Here are a couple of other things to consider:
Set the starfield to be the background image, or map it to a square. The cyclorama causes some odd distortion in mid-left of the image.
You can find some higher quality textures for that X-Wing at Sparkyworld.
