Description

Carrara & Bryce primitives, lattices and terrains. -*- [Ed.: thanks everyone! The drape is 3 copies of a terrain, and it's texture and shape are made from a photo of a drape from www.animax.it, after some playing with the grayscale height map in PhotoShop (PS). The dressertop is another example, wood texture from an old PS CD. The mirror stand is a lattice object, created as a grayscale map in PS. The dresser itself started as the pattern for the top, exported to Carrara for some bulging and tapering, and re-imported into Bryce. The drawers are intersection of a copy of the dresser, with cubes - I had trouble with "Subtract" so I used "Intersect". Then I rotated the texture 90 degrees so you could see a difference. The drawer pulls are little lattices, the pattern is from a character from the HouseIndustries (www.houseind.com) font called "Vectagrams". -whew! almost harder to describe, than to make. Here is one with distorted Poser figures. -jim] -*- Thanks for viewing!

Very cool, Is the design on the mirror stand a lattice? Love the wood texture on the chest of drawers.

I think the drape is the best part. Probably hardest to do? Or maybe that's because I'm not sure how you did it. Very nice.

You are a terrain master and I always love the slightly off kilter presentation of your work, always original, always unique. Well done...
