The mist was rising from the sea The sun was coming low When Morna ran onto the bridge The wind began to blow... She reached out her little hands And made a little sound Then tiny lights from the sea Did their little friend surround.. She called to them and cooed at them And heartily did beseech But though they loved her dearly They always stayed from her reach.
