Description

A WIP of something I've been working on. Following on from the flamey mats from the last image I posted. This world is one I'll be developing slowly as I learn MJW more, as well as some other modelling programs...wings 3d, xfrog, etc. My intention being to create more complex scenes from this world as I progress ;) Did this as a test render to check out what the materials would look like. Snow needs more work :( .... but the firey rock parts came out OK :) Postwork in Photoshop ...used a spotlight to alter the lighting here. Hence the darker top to the sky area and lighter fire-rock at the bottom of the pic :) TFV&C

Nice flamey mats and interesting cracks of those rocks. Be careful not to slip on your snow while you work on it, cause nobody could rescue you on that unknown world ;-)

I like the cracks in the surface - not so sure about the orange part of the cracks - maybe just too aliening looking for me. I think the snow may need some kind of texture..Maybe too white..
