Description
Centuries ago, a jealous Druid Priest, jilted by a young girl, turned her and her lover to stone and left them, forgotten, in the darkest wood.
Legend has it,that if a rare beam of unbroken sunlight was to penetrate the dense canopy, the lovers would awaken and return to thier human form.
But sunlight NEVER gets this deep into the wood.
Until today......
Thanks Kassie for your awesome freebee at 3dcommune.
Very seldom does a Freebee come along that deserves center stage!
This started out simple enough, but as these things do, it snowballed exponentially.....Ended up taking 3 days to render.......Thanks Meski for the DTE Assist (the ground terrain is a modified version of one of Bob's mats).
Anyway I hope you all enjoy, and Thanks for being here!

Ohhhh i LOVE this. How beautiful and captivating. I love the story (as a pagan person I can appreciate the lore behind this gorgeous render) and I LOVE how magickal the lighting is ... upon further viewing I notice the transition to the dark blue background and how this deep wood seems to be soaking in the glory of the beams trickling through. GREAT JOB!! It is an unusual and very unique piece!
