I am very impressed by the sky and the colors of your picture. On can almost feel the heat rising from the stones.

holy moly, what a great image. love the ridge, as you call it...reminds me of spikes jabbing the sky...maybe hence the red seeping from the sky into the rest of the work...like blood from a wound? lol beautiful work!
