Keep in mind the underlying perspective of the piece; not only from the standpoint that it is representative of a work in progress, but also that it is representative of our unending attempts to create realities within realities, frequently imperfect, and quite often at the expense of our attention to other realities - like the one known as real life.
And even holding up a surrealistic, sardonic mirror to it all, and recognizing the parody for what it is, we will invariably continue on in the simultaneous and seemingly conflicting quests for differentiation and acceptance, with life imitating art and art imitating life, bending back upon itself and recursively shaping our common mental geography and shared frames of reference.
