pretty nice..um...thing! whatever it is, looks pretty intricate! nicely done. would love to see some radiosity renders. i think it'll light the nooks whle giving you a richer shadows. it looks a bit flat with the ambient light now. also, not sure how anal you'd want to be, but it'd be grea to put a micro bevel on the edges a bit. it would catch some nice specular lights, also, i bought the "rounder" plugin and love it. perfect for these things. Nothing is perfectly shap on the edges unless it's glass or something; ) either way, fantastic model!

Yes, you're right. This was done in 1998. Now I would surely use some bevel on the edges and probably also some radiosity, especially now we have Fprime available :-). (I would however not use bevel on the section). What You see is a heat-exchanger for a central heating system.
