Description

Nikon Coolpix 5700; little postwork. Cold sunny morning, temperature below freezimg point. The scenery reminded me of the atmosphere in some of Edward Hopper's paintings.

...no joke - I thought "Hopper" the minute I saw the thumbnail -- the actual photo looks a little less Hopperish but is nice work on it's own - silhouette adds that little extra.---I would suppose - if you sent it thru certain filters and lost the taxi it could really look like a long lost Hopper painting !

I love Hopper! And from the thumb thought it looked very close to that famous painting of the diner too! Wonderful NY photography series.... brings back lots of exciting memories.
