I think there is precious little in life that can bestow such a deep and profound feeling of serenity and calm as a gathering of swans, cygnets, geese and ducks, it literally is a touch of what paradise must be like. One of the gorgeous earmarks of this shot is the water trail made by the one swan with its neck crimped down, as if he/she just landed or put on a burst of speed. The other grouping of swans and ducks just beyond the two sand barges adds so much depth to the image. Gorgeous shot Tina and may you have a life filled with such wondrous scenes.

actually Jason that one swan was beating up the other swan, your right it was a male, then matting fights had begun early , that was 1 po'd swan, the ranger had to break up the fight, it got nasty but then there were the ones that were so tender, wrapping they'er necks around each other so gentel, such grace, with his wings fanned up,I missed the shot we all were just fixed on the beauty of that moment, they mate for life, if 1 swan mate dies alot of the time the other will die of a broken heart, who ever said animals don't have feelings shoulds have been there, for they know not what they say

The quality of this shot is a bit much compressed.. At the same time I can feel your love for nature in this shot, and that makes it valuable!
