Description

Spent 20+ hours on this, working most of the day yesterday doing modeling and today finishing up the scene. The tower was modeled in Wings3d, textured in Bryce with additional textures added in Photoshop with post. Alot of photos incorporated into the image, mostly with the clouds. "...rising black, blacker and darker than the vast shades amid which it stood, the cruel pinnacles and iron crown of the topmost tower of Barad-d

The toweris great and shows how much work you put into it. I really need to do something other than mdelling cubes in wings. It's the sky that is really impressing me. Fantasticly dramatic. Major Vote and then some.

This is fricken cool! Wow! Love the entire scene. Including the clouds, castle, and atmoshpere of the design. Very impressive! Cool! You should have people pay to see this cool of work. $2-5 a peek? (lol) Your choice. Very well done. Wow.

Wonderful! Fantastic - as always! Now for the C&C's ;) I preferred the sky in the lower left pic in the forum thread http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=107&Form.ShowMessage=1721499 I thought it was more brooding and menacing. I didn't think that the lightning added anything to the image.

Incredible image Jordan. The sky is fantastic along with the terrain, and as I'm always telling you your modelling work is superb, all the above goes into making a most wonderful, dramatic scene. 8)
