The name is Cheburashka... he is a very lonly strange creature with a child soul... and he indeed looking for friends! :-) Ther was a greate animation movie for kids in 80's... I think he is still more recognisable in Russia than any pokemon :-) Many toys were made of this image, most of them in teddy bear style, not plastic like this one... indeed, very cute (it is his "natural" size: small, strange and lonely)
