Description

This is the near final version of my Monitor Class Space Cruiser for my ongoing fleet of ships. I still have some detail to add on the bottom but basically this is it. Took me two months to get this far on this mesh and I am in Iraq on deployment... :P

For a minute there, I thought it was one of the ships from "Starship Troopers." Gory movie, lousy lines, and I just had my house sprayed for 20 foot bugs.

Wow, Thanks alot! I wasn't expecting so many comments but hey... thanks none the less. I decded to add some additional texturing to show a little bit of weathering and burning around the edges of the weapons. I will render it in some scenes in the coming weeks and post that later on. The design is Starship Troopers-esque but hell anything with a long cylindrical body and two/four engines in the rear can look like Starship Troopers :P

Fantastic ship, texturing and modelling! What is the size of your cruiser if it physically existed in the real world?
