Description

I hate using the zoom in my cam as I feel comfy clicking images holding the cam in hand and when I zoom the chances are more that I end up bluring the image. Also the fact that I have this habit of looking at the lcd screen rather than the view finder, leads to shake which are unwarrented. Anyway, this is just an excercise in trying to get the zoom the best possible. Hope you all ilke it. Thank you!! snakey

I love the flowered tree and the bird, of course. I tend to always seek out hawks and whatnot, when Im riding along in a car. Hawk-Dar! if that even makes sense. Well done :)

Funny this plant looks like an Orchid Tree, an ornamental tree that grows here. A tighter crop on this would make it more interesting. :)

I just tried to "capture" a hawk the other day, and YES it was fuzzy. Good job. I think the flowers give it a nice perspective.

I second the feeling about using the zoom! Tough stuff while in hand. Great shot!

I have a special device (an expensive multi-lense multi-focus camera. It focuses depth field in three places - leaving me to juggle my options -a, b or c!) It has a rather short name it's called an eye! LOL. Nice combining, foreground silhouette, colour and distant bird. I think a crop would have lost the bird.

the simplicity of this shot appeals deeply... I'm a fan of the minimalist theory... love it Raj!
