Description

I posted a composit image of this piece earlier. It was just a rough idea of what I wanted to do. It's taken a while to get back to it. My Wacom table died and I had to buy another one. This picture also took over 36 hours to render on a fairly fast computer. Anyhow, here it is the finished image. Be sure to notice the reflection in the sphere. This image is a play of barren rock in the background and the lush landscape reflected in the sphere. I had to create two landscapes, the background landscape and a totally different landscape behind the camera (the one that is reflected). Hope you like it. Excellent image. The lighting is very crisp. There is a lot to look at in this image and it all fits together well. I like her face and the perspective we have of her. Excellent work 8)

Not only is the sphere work fantastic, the light work is also, just marvelous work period. The hair work, God I could go on and on, suffice it to say, you've created a master piece here!

I've seen similiar concepts to this, but this one is just outstanding!! Love the reflaction, the lighting and all the fab texturing! EXCELLENT!

What a wonderful concept, and terrific image; the difference between her "real" world and the reflection is really intriguing. Wonderful light and texture in this as well, and great post on her hair.

Waow! You did a great improvment on girl's expression .. I find it more mysterious, and somehow sad.. intriguing.. the reflexion on the sphere completes the image perfectly.. Very excellent job!
