Well i was looking at the jpeg and it reminded me on something. Then i read ur comment what ur inspiration was and then i realized it was like u said : the image makes an impression of being 50s space art :o) So : u succeeded in what u wanted to accomplish. One thing i dont like : the purple line around the aura around Earth. It doesnt fit in the picture. Even for a 50s space art one :o)

Well, if you call it starting... Much more complex than my "Just starting" ;) Congratulations, although this empty ring makes a bit unpleasant impression after a minute of looking.
