Description

The Crash Cowboy traveling between timelines here. Water on Mars .... ehh well at a Mars in an alternated reality. Terrain is DEM from Labyrintus Nocturnis at Mars. I used the 'different water levels' trick again, so this is 3 renders with waterlevels at 'high', 'mid' and 'low'. Let me know what you think about it !

Excellent effect and realistic render! I wonder what sort of creatures live in or around this water on Mars?

I'm curious to know how you combine the pictures when you do more than one render.

@PatGoltz : I mostly render 3 images first : One without water, one with water at 'half height' (look at the terrain map to find a good 'dam') and one at full height. After that I just select and copy the section I need from one image, and paste it into the other (or the 'basic' image if you like). Be careful saving and renaming the images. I use PSP, which gives the option to save an image with all individual layers saved too. Postwork I do AFTER the copy-and-past job of course.
