Terragen and a World Machine terrain. Combined two different perlins on this terrain.

I like his terrain A.D. except for the pointy spires (I know, we all have different tastes). The base terrain color is ideal. You might consider taking each of the yellow layers and reducing their respective colors by about 35 to 40 points. Then, darken the sky a bit either by reducing the gamma to about 1.35; or, the atmospheric blue to about 12 to 14.
