Description

As an answer to some members who asked me for more postings, I'll put some WIP on the gallery for the next days. This one is a trying to achieve a realistic look with textures, while keeping the objects the simpliest possible. Modelled with Max 4 (yes, I still use the old 4 version) and rendered with VRay. All textures are made from pics heavilly manipulated in Photoshop. Some cool sources for textures: http://art.net/~jeremy/photo/public_texture/ http://www.mayang.com/textures/ http://www.imageafter.com All comments are welcome

The crates seem a little too clean to have been abandoned as trash, but on the other hand, they are mighty fine-looking crates. The grass against the wall seems a little too even and orderly, but the little plant in the sidewalk cracks looks completely realistic and natural. The sidewalk itself and the street, your textures are spot on and wonderfully detailed. Really fine work.
