Description
You are like a breath of fresh air
blowing gently over my soul
awakening my heart that had
left me battered and broken
not so long ago
Your kind and enduring words
uplifted and strengthened me
when all I needed was a friend
to have a little faith
and to believe in me
Never harsh or critical
of what I was going through
You sat back and listened
as I poured my heart out to you
Thank you my friend
for taking the time,
to hold my hand,
give me that hug
Show me love
as my heart and world
came to an end
Awesome friends there
reaching out
when no one else
really knew the
pain and doubt
of the things
I was going through
Because of you
I can breath again
and feel that gentle
breeze across my soul,
knowing once more
having my heart
and love, my life
start to beat again
This little poem
yes is for you,
to say thank you
for being my friend,
your kindness, love
and support in
all that you do
and what you have
given to me
I can breath
and live again.

thank you roadrunner and workablesilver :) to tell u the truth silver I had tears in my eyes when I wrote this poem.. and still do when I re-read it :) it most definately came from my heart and life experiences... :) so thank you for taking time to read and post on it bright blessings to you!
