I do not take credit for this drawing... wuz scanned from a published japanese comic. Author's the same guy who drew Slam Dunk. Colored this in the editorial board room in school while passin my time. Enjoy! Did the eyes myself :) comments welcome as always!

Nice shading job, the eyes are neat but seem a little different than your average manga-type. I like the expression, as if she's looking at something truly startling.

ah yeah... startled :) that's the word.. wuz lookin for a name but ended up with "shock" It's a letter from her fiance or sth tellin her to forget bout her btw :P

I like your choice of color for shading. I find that whenever you use gray mixed with some other color it tends to look more truer as apossed to just choosing a dark color for shade.
