Description
my entry (1st place) for the last christianfly contest ("sci-fi", postwork allowed!)
Spaceships ("skyhopper" from the star wars world) were done entirely in photoshop, like the planet (I used a jupiter "texture") and her distant moons. The background starfield is an image modified from Hubble collection.
some stats:
6400x4800 tg render (16h)
3200x2400 photoshop file (173Mb, ~290 layers)
~ one week of work and the feeling that my computer would crash before the end ;)
