I've been into digital art since 7th grade, when I got a Mac Quadra 800 and found a copy of Photoshop 4 in the trash, recovered it and started messing around with it. Since then, I've discovered more tools to add to my arsenal, and have enjoyed almost every step of the way from then to now. Though I haven't really done a stellar job in science classes, especially subjects like physics, I've found science and sci-fi to be great sources of inspiration for my work. I would often watch the science and sci-fi channels for a while just to get even the smallest sliver of an idea, and let my mind go wild with it.

I have a gallery of my own called Nightwatch Productions. I also have some of my work for sale as prints on Deviant Art. Check them out.

Beautiful Atmo and Lighting!

Excellent picture ! Nice snow and lighting ! Yes, you succeed in making a realistic picture ! Bravo !

Holy Smoke ! This IS realism ! At Himalayan levels the snow is much rougher, more frozen and icy, wind making ribs and edges in it, and not this friendly, 'ski-piste' like .... that's the only thing I can say except 'Beautiful !'.

Apparently you're not succeeding... You need a couple for surface layers, some bump mapping would be nice. Good lighting though, and I like the terrain.

Beautiful colors, and i agree with crashcowboy but this kind of snow is impossible to make because tg can't make so much depth surfaces

mmm,,this is good, but i would say,,less snow,,another snow layer with a rougher bump map,,better rock surfaces, and, well, i usually prefer crissper images,,,but thats just me. Other than that, this is great

nice image with a great snow surface

Beautiful smooth snow. But Crashcowboy is right the more icy snow in the himalayas. I like the lighting and the plain blue sky. Very simple but good.

This is reasonably good. But I agree: you need more layers on your surface. This is definitely moving toward realism.
