Description

Haven't done Sci-Fi for a while, so here's something I whipped up this afternoon. Although I did model the ship a few days ago. Obvious influence from several people. Not least Mrdodobird. Following what Eres said, I thought I should add a back story: When humans first explored the distant planet, they found large deserted cities built by a long departed race. What ever creatures lived here, they were giants. Maybe even 25 feet high. They were a skilled civilizaztion and no clue can be found to their fate. The large structures lent themselves perfectly to the human colonists and they even managed to convert large halls into massive docks for their ships. The bad news is that they will soon find out what happened to the previous owners. (Hope that explains the huge bricks ;-) Thanks for looking.

great textures, detail, lighting, sky, mood. The only problem is that those bricks are either 15 feet long, or the ship is five feet long. Other than that little scale problem it's a wonderful scene

Great work. The bricks could be 15 feet long, after all this is sience-fiction. Excellent image, I wish I could do as well.
