I am a new artist - learing the ropes in the various 3d programs. I am hoping to enhance my skills through the association with the fantastic artists in Renderosity. I am a better 3d modeler than using the various render programs - but I am getting there.

neat render....I'd love to see this model in a sunset sky, just as the sun creeps across the horizon :) well done!

Wow, big picture ;-) It's a great piece of modelling. Not too sure about the central lens flare.

great work..just one thing that might help..there's a program by diard software called 'Universe', you can create realistic starfields, and import them as backgrounds..and it's free..everything else is perfect, great lighting, composition..

Hey Thanks for the feedback - I took your advice and got the Universe Software - can't wait to field test it. The Enterprise model was created in Lightwave by the Wolfpack 359. Anyone who is interested in the Universe software - go HERE! http://www.diardsoftware.com/ Thanks Guys!

One eentsy weentsy teeny tiny "little problem"; The Enterprise is NOT MADE FOR ATMOSPHERIC FLIGHT! Beyond that, it's cute.

Sorry Technogeek - there was a TV Episode where the Enterprise goes back in time and accidentally shoots down a a fighter interceptor with it's tractor beam. Turns out they have to return the pilot or it will destroy their future. The Enterprise does travel in the atmosphere, Voyager actually landed on a planet. The entire Fedration Fleet can land on a planet in an emergancy...Somebody help me out here. HEY! Who gave me the "Needs Improvement!!!" rating :(
