Description
I said I'd post a different photo today, but it has to wait until tomorrow. This is a photo of the same structure as seen in the Tulum Ruins - Coastal View photo. This was taken inland facing towards the ocean with a crumble wall and plants framing it in the foreground. Tulum is a very scenic place. :-)
This building was used by the inhabitants to watch the sea for ships and at night a light burned from a window to help boats navigate through the treacherous coral reefs.
