Description

Max 5, V-Ray, Digital Fusion I've been doing some really colorful cartoony scenes at work the past couple months and I decided to take some of the tricks I've learned and apply them to my own work. I just wanted to achieve a painterly look that still retained a certain degree of realism. Poly modeled from a sphere. Lit with standard max lights (No GI). V-Ray displacement. Layers comped in Digital Fusion where I added some subtle shadows, DOF, lightwrap, and some soft glows. Thanks for viewing!

Thanks everyone for your comments! :) The candle material is just a standard max material with a gradient ramp in the diffuse and self illumination slots.
