I have been married to my lovely wife Beverly since 1970 and we have 8 inside/outside cats that used to be ferrel. My favorite animal is the TIGER.
I retired from MIT Lincoln Laboratory late 2015.

BIO Art has always been a passion which I pursue as a hobby in my spare time. During the late 1970s I created a part time business creating direct metal sculpture from brass, copper and stainless steel.
From 1986 to 1988 I enjoyed painting miniature pewter figurines, of various scales, using artist oils. I created about 50 figurines of dragons, warriors and beautiful woman.
Finally in 2002 I discovered the wonderful world of Digital Art and began using Poser and later added Bryce, Terragen and DAZ Studio.

Her body looks a bit distorted, may have to do with the focal distance. A longer focal distance (I ususally use 75 mm or more on scenes like these) gives better proportions.
A bump map on the dress texture, and reduced specularity would improve the dress.
The trees on the background suggest that the light is coming from the right. The lighting on the woman, and especially her shadow, do not match with that.
Now for the good parts: I like the composition, and her face and expression are still excellent. The dress is very romantic, and her pose looks natural, relaxed. With just a few minor improvements this image can be truly great.

Makes an interesting contrast with the close-up image. I think the tight shot was perfect for the sense of flirtation. This is a beautiful scene in it's own right even if some of the original emotional intent is lost. Nicely lit and posed. :)
