...VERY quickly....
Canon 10D + Sigma 28-300mm Hyperzoom
ISO 200 f5.6 1/1000
Last one of the river series for now. There are a few left, but I think they might just pop up every now and then when I'm short of a photo. The swans didn't attack, but after getting this look I decided that a calm tactical retreat might be wise.
Thanks for looking...take care

Agree with ident about the angle, it's a sad,'glancing over the shoulder as leaving, angle'.
cynlee

ooooh, that swan means business. You can almost hear him (i think it's a him?) saying 'you lookin' at me? well, you're the only one with a camera, so you must be looking at me...'

I enjoyed your series very much. Thanks for sharing.

A chance you have a hyperzoom, because swanqs can be very dangerous when too closed to us (I've got a really bad experience with it !!!) A great "quick" shot my friend !

an excellent image. !!!!!!! #:O) !!!!!!!

Beautiful shot. And a wise decision. A swan can break a man's leg with his wing, and probably give you a memorable nip to boot. That's Mister Swan to you.

The angle and crop are very fine. The swan looks almost mean that way, certainly serious, anyway :))
