Description

Here is page 4 of my ongoing comic. In an attempt to follow some advice of some you that have viewed my comic, I used Poser to pose figures, but Vue d'Sprit to render, then post work using Fireworks & Photoshop. I was also told by some that my translucent thought boxes were difficult to read so I made those solid this time. I found that in order to fit all I wanted on this page, I needed to make things a bit smaller than I would have liked. I hope it is not too small for any to view. As always your suggestions & comments are welcomed & appreciated. - John

This is what I think may be helpful to you. I would suggest making the image larger, because a lot of detail is lost in the small image. This site permits large images. The text is small and is difficult to read. I would also suggest white text in coloured boxes such as the ones you have. Black doesn't work. If that is not to your liking, you could put less frames in if you want to keep the image to a certain size. I'm not trying to ask you to view my story, but you might want to see what I do in mine and see what works for me.

I agree with enigma-man: the image size is too small to read the texts, and a lot of detail is lost. This image at a size of say 1000 x 1800 (I don't mind scrolling in a multipanel image) would have been a lot better.

I am able to read everything fine. I agree that the image could be bigger to allow for a better view, but then you will have people telling you your image is too big and takes too long to load. Its a lose/lose scenario. Now, as for the image itself, friggin great work man! I see a lot of time has been spent on it, and it is worth it. The story is smooth, fits well with your others and is funny. I already like the new character, and I hope to see the little goblin make another appearance. Your expressions are solid, and your post work on the sound effect and speech bubbles is really good. I disagree about making the text white. Black works fine and is easy to read. Plus it gives the layout a little excitment. This is easily the best work you have done so far, and I hope you keep it up. Well done.

Thanks for the input all. As for the size, this seemed to be the largest size I could make w/o going over the file size ...and keep high quality. I have been keeping jpgs around 96% quality, What do you all think the lowest quality I should make it w/o out sacrificing final output looks?
