Description

Just a coincidence, but I happened to select a POV on christianfly's DEM 'Navajo Lake' and come up with the same view as he did for his work: "Lifeless Capuccino...". However, I think his work was a 'combination' of two or more terrains. Thanks for visiting.

the sweep of the foreground adds to the dramatic shape of the mountain in back - Buzzzzz has a point about the strata line, since it cuts that wonderful sweep so abruptly - as a possible fix I suggest you add a buffering layer coloured the same colour as this strata band - it could cover from the cliffs, over the hillocks and down to the foreground but would have fuzziness added to the highest edge to soften the strata boundary - if you get the colour right, nobody would know it was there

Nothing wrong with the foreground.. This is appox what you would see with a wide angle lens on a up slope using a greater depth of field.. Another well done picture Bob..

Excellent work Bob ! Love that stretched sky and terrain ! The brown line issue is probably a matter of taste ! This is good work whatever !
