Description
This is my second try with the "strata" effect
it needs work I know but I hope it is a start in the right direction...Many thanks to Peten for his links to strata tutorials and to Pat G. for her help and support.

Really unique as far as the layering, C. Maybe don't set the cutoff as low, fractalize more, and use a map that is, like 300 + pix long & use two of them. Otherwise, it's sharp & clear. Strata is tricky, I know.

Strata is difficult...I test different texture files and in the strata window...I apply heights in meters not terregen units. Also check the layer height and coverage by changing the color to bright red or green and see where it lays. Then adjust it using the coverage, fractal noise, altitude and slope constraints. Test render at 500 X 375. Hope this helps. Keep up the good work!!!
