Description

Was listening to "To The Last Whale" from Crosby and Nash...nostalgic...thus the title of this image ! What a perfect song for this mood ! The Terrain (Snow Lake WY) is from Terrafiction, thanks to our German colleagues for a nice assortement of terrains that they make available.Wanted to convey a mood of solitude with the wind being the only thing breaking a perfect silence. The water, I hope, shows this gentle breeze that gently brushes your face in this fading yellow light. Thanks to Rids for pointing me the right way for the water effects ! Thanks Steve ! Les couleurs et l'atmosphe sont superbes ! Mais ta composition me semble duilibr : l'avant-plan gauche manque d'attrait et obscurcit la sce. En baissant lement le Coverage du gazon pour que la roche apparaisse davantage, tu peux corriger ce daut.

The colors in this are breathtaking, and I like all the rest of it as well: water, terrain, and sky in particular. You definitely captured the feeling of a breeze on the water.

The atmosphere and water are awesome. The background mountain among some atmospheric haze look espically good. Excellent image.
