If I'm ever asked the question
"why bother climbing up a mountain?"
I always feel that there is not really a satisfactory answer I can give. If the question has to be asked in the first place , then the person asking will never really be able to understand the reasons why.
Does that make any sense?

Anyway this shot is looking south to the peaks of Glen Coe, Black Mount, Ben Dorain and beyond.

This photo is the answer to the question, I guess we do what we do because we like it and it is a challenge. Wonderful scenery with fantastic atmosphere.

If you can't climb you must eat grime! I love climbing it's an objective 'sport' with no real objective accept getting higher.
