Taking Andreas' advice and cropping differently. That also allows a definite improvement in the shading IMO. UF 3

The spiral is much more in the focus now. And I like very much how the blue colours frame the vivid center. The first version was already beautiful, this image is even more.
I would be interested how this image looks like if you add some "painterly" features too (don't let you fool by my suggestions!).

This final product is a stunner. It looks as if it is being whisked around in the sea. I like the art deco feel of the tails on the spirals. Very well created!
