Description
Many thanks to AgentSmith for the inspiration and the Mini Tutorial on creating underwater scenes. Plants from Planit3D,Wreck Model from 3dCafe as was the small Spacecraft which was modified by me with the addition of the propeller units to become the deep sea scout vehicles. Huge number of hours in this image most of which was spent getting just the right look from the spotlights. Comments Welcome.
Cheers
GG.

Very cool, much improvement since the last Forum update.

hmmmm... i think you went way overboard with the haze, but that's really the only major thing that's stopping me from giving you an excellent. well, an actual window to the POV (for the sub), some instruments, maybe the reflection of some instruments, and some lens flares for the red tail lights would actually be the only things. i'd also make the walls a bit less regular =)

I like the POV, the models, and the setting. I would have to agree with the others about the haze. Representing reality is cool, but "cheating" for the sake of the clarity of your image is using your artistic license. I think that Drac makes a good point about the the Window POV and making the contrast between the inside of the sub and the outside environment more clearly defined.

Maybe have it closer to the point of interest. Right now it seems there's a bit of empty space.

I just had to post another comment. If you were to remove one of the two ships there would be a much more obvious point of interest. I would go with removing the left one.

Very nice!!! I like it, One thing which I think could help it though... contrast contrast contrast!

Very nice, if somewhat 'misty', a little contrast might be nice or a look from either side instead of dead on center, to add interest...=)

The only real bug for me is that the interior of the vehicle the observer is in would be illuminated partially by the ambient but partially by the instrumentation. it would not have any haze. Otherwise this has a hell of a lot of promise.
