...can Februrary March? No, but April May :)
Well, in a few weeks this will be common sight in the beech forests of Denmark - I just can't wait, so I dreamed this up in Vue.

Trees made with XFrog - my design & textures. Flowers from Toucan, Grass made in Bantam3D Grass 7.
Rendered in Ultra with DOF set to 3 pct. Approx. 14 mio. polygons, surprisingly quick render of 6 hrs. Minor adjustments with Photoshop.
Hope you like my vision of spring - comments etc. greatly appreciated.

Just had a small taste of this last week before the temperature fell and the rains set in! The large drifts of wood anemones and lesser celandine were a very welcome sign of spring, and the bluebells and wild garlic are in full leaf though not yet flowering. Nice evocation of a favourite time of the year.

:-O Wow! Hurra for Hot20 og at jeg fandt denne her! Virkeligt dejligt billede... Lyset er "endnu" engang fantastisk!.. ogskompositionen og den me du benytter DOF'en per perfekt!... men jeg synes der er 2 ting der lidt elger helhedsindtrykket. DOF'en virker lidt grynet? Det er ret geligt og f grset og bladene til at sunderlige og grynede ud. Jeg synes ogsdet er en skam med den "bare" jord hvor du ikke har benyttet 3d-planter. De ser lidt underligt og og forstyrrer illusionen af en rigtig skov. Mke hvis du prede noget lignende det du har gjort med dit seneste billede?.. masser af sm"ramsl" ;).. men stadig et utroligt billede!
