Description

Rendered in Vue 4.0 Postwork Corel Painter 8 *Upon hearing the call of the Siren, The boat has run aground upon the rocks. A lone sailor believes he sees a beautiful woman alone on the rocks and swims to her - only to witness the beginnings of her transformation, and the realization of his impending doom.* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*******~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When I first decided to do this image, I thought, That should be an easy one - no clothes, just one prop - e a s y. WRONG! lol* I had tons of problems with this one - especially the rock formations. Thank you for viewing and have a great day! I can see what you going for, and it is a brilliant start!!! I love the composition, and the color palette. The images of the man and the siren definately have that "Romantic" style. Excellent work!

Stunning image both in depth and feel. One of the Pre-Raphaelites could have painted this; it's so organic. You would never think a computer created it. Good job!

Beautiful image, the water looks amazing, although I tend to agree with Ken about the smudge area, but that shouldn't be too hard to rectify. Superb work!

jeepers! You sure did a great job in postworking this pic. I can really see the waterhouse influence in your background and the addition of the ship-run-ashore is a very nice compositional element. Reminds me of Proverbs 14:12- "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." Keep this up!
