Description

It actually was 3 A.M. when I started this as I couldn't sleep. So I got up and started to play with SSS on the milk. 8 days later I have the swedish milk (mine) from the swedish milk carton (bazze), the swedish lamp (cartesius) and the swedish furniture (myself/Tony Lynch) but I still can't find the swedish cookies! Thanks to all above. Rendered with radiosity (non GI), caustics and SSS. Post in PhotoPaint to add the sig. Thanks for looking. (If anyone knows a good SSS tut let me know please!)

I love how the light shows through the liquid, and the wood is fantastic.

to me...the milk looks really fake. I can't see if the milk has just been poured in or the milk has been drank. Keep up the good work.

Did you ever think of adding bump maps to your textures? It would add some variation and photo realism. Also try bending edges just a tad and see how drastically it affects the realism. Good potential...

I love the glass and the carton and the lamp...but to me the milk looks as though it has no top surface. Perhaps it needs a little more transparency or even a bit of variation in the texture. Whatever, this is still an excellent image!

Depends on the monitor calibration. On both mine here at home and the ones at work it does have just a faint defining edge. There is an excellent little monitor calibration tool in the tutorials section here. Thanks for looking!

So that's what you go for at 3 A.M. Another perfect image in my opinion... of course you know I go for the 'GLOSS'!
