Description

first of all, i have to say i really hate the genres here on renderosity. what do you do with images that wish to set mood, but don't really feel like they belong in the atmosphere/mood caregory? or images that are outside reality, but not enough to be trully surreal? what do you do with SYMBOLIC images?? anyway --------------------------- this is basically where i am right now. free fall. i have a java programming test tomorrow... or should i say today (in 7 hours) at 8am worth 10%, then by 1pm i have to type 1000 words for my 15% Macroeconomics assignment, and soon as i get home i need to start working on my 1500 word critical website analysis which is worth 20%. for now though, i have let go of myself. i've done what i could in the minimal time i left for myself in which to learn and now what will happen, will happen. it is beyond my control ------------------- once again i'll ask that no technical comments are made. i'm no longer going to strive for realism. as long as the message gets across, that's good enough for me besides, maybe we can call it a uhhh minimalistic style? by the way, i hate DOF and motion blur in lightwave, it never works the way i want it to. ------------------- the 'stunning' buildings were... YES! created by me! isn't it just so obvious?!?! should also be obvious that they actually all are the same 1 building cloned about 20 times :p the dude is Don(key) from poser. i didn't deface him this time though :)

it'd probably look better with cloud reflections on the buildings, but i forgot to turn them on, so tough noogies :p

That guy looks so cool. Whoosh. You used my little trick, the "clone everything" trick, works great eh! But the way you changed the sizes of the buildings makes it not very obvious, which is good. And aww you said "tough noogies" Don't you love my sayings haha Anyway, good meaning in this image also and good luck with your test and assignments tomorrow!

Jeez ..maybe you ought to relax and take a vacation. Things are never that complicated. Just chill out! Tomorrow always brings new ideas and experiences.

Yeah dude, I gotta go with the chilling out idea. Not only does tomorrow bring new ideas, it also brings fresh baked goods.

I've been playing the beta for a new game called City Of Heroes, and this reminds me of it (not graphically of course) but because I have been a top of many buildings and jumped to the city below. I like how plain the roof tops are. The lack of details aside from the windows, really gives focus to the falling guy (nice effect on him, BTW) and also helps to show a feeling of dispair. I hope things in your classes are picking up now and I wish you luck.

Are the buildings suppose to be see-through or am I just going sane? On purpose or not, combined with the guy gives it a nice psychotic crazy look.
