Description
This is an image whch I reproduced from memory of a Chateau in France that I visited some 6 years ago.
Consctruction and rendering in Bryce5 and Poser4, postwork in PS7.

You really gave me some inspiration here. So much art submitted is focused on the Mid-evil scope of work that it's nice to a different era. Nice setting and the image tells a nice story.

Wow, lovely render. Not what I had expected from the title, because the Chateau d'If I remembered was from "The Count of Monte Cristo" and was of course, VERY different. The only thing I might mention is that I don't think they actually drove carriages between those boxwood hedges. Though you might know better, since you were actually there. Either way, it's a great image. ^_^
