Description
Rendered in Poser 5 with the Firefly rendering engine to take advantage of the displacement mapping. I have no idea why the flowers are black, I tried all sorts of things to fix them. They looked better with the P4 renderer, but I wanted to use the displacements for the grass, so sometimes you have to take the good with the bad! If anyone has any idea how to fix it, I'd be happy to hear about it.

You used displacement mapping. Did you set the displacement bounds of the grass object, or did you set the Minimum Displacement Bounds in the rendering dialog? If you used the first option, the black holes in the flowers can be explained. Setting the Minimu Displacement Bounds in the render options dialog to a larger value, say 5.000 or so, will increase the render time, but it probably will get rid of the black patches. I'm not sure it will work, though. I've had some similar problems with a render that I just could not solve.
Excellent work on blending the background with the grass plane, it's very hard to see where the grass stops and the background image begins. The shadows might have been a little stronger, for the rest, great image, with a nice spring mood.

svdl, thank you for your suggestion. I did not set any displacement bounds, just left it at the default, but I will try your suggestions. Thank you for your honest comments!
