Description
The most important aspect of this image were the textures, which took me a lot of time. I was never satisfied with them, until I had an idea: why not trying, instead of seeing the image from a photorealistic point of view, to see it with the eyes of a painter? So the textures went the right way, and I am really happy with how it came out!

the colors and the dramatic mood are very beautiful! i would love to see more sky and a bit less terrain and the water is not necessary for this pict, imho! great job... :-)

If I may say, too much darkness in this picture instead of seeing the colours of the terrain...You know better, anyway, because I do not know anything about terragen! ~Mihai~
