Description

Thanks for viewing! The first of a seven part series, Water on the rocks, like the drink. I don't normally use film, so this was a challenge. Please, tell me what you really think about this, and try to find somthing wrong that I can work to improve on. UPDATE: I took what you said to heart, and uploaded a replacement.

The basic composition is very nice.. would make for a great poster... but I like the faded white frame on the top and right side better than the left and bottom...

That's one brilliant compo with a graphical feel to it! Like the B/W and your framing work too!

Well you asked to us to find something wrong so I did. I can be a little picky about images. This one is good dont get my wrong or anything..but I would like to see less greys and a bit more whites like where the water it. Otherwise it looks great. Bravo

A lil more light and a lil less cloud may do the trick, both on the water as well as the rock.;) As is...... this is beautiful.:O))

compositionally perfect nice contrast & frame... agree on maybe a little more white but still it works, has a sombre, peaceful mood :]

Very soothing. Great composition, but a bit more contrast (as everyone seems to agree) would really make it stand out. I like the rough edges.

Honest opinion here.... I love it. This is so soothing and has such a meditative mood. To me the richness of dark tones are simply perfect. I think the contrast is beautiful... and if it were my photo I wouldn't change a thing.

i like this, the compo and lighting. if i had to make a change it would be the frame, though that's a personal preference :)

The only thing I can find is the piece of rock at the bottom of the picture. You could have cropped it. Just my two cents... It's a wonderful capture and indeed a meditative mood.

I don't know how it looked like at first, but what i see now looks good to me. Good compo, great contrast and some creative piece of work.

Missed the first version, but I love this... fantastic tonal range and a classic, multi-layered composition. Top-notch work Brandon! :)
