Description
I found a way down to the bottom. Had a time with Jaw-Bone. Who ever heard of a mule afraid of heights??
I had to find the "Steps by the water". This place is covered by "Steps" and I know there is water by most of them on the valley floor. One other clue, there was a cross on the wall. Thats how I would know I had the right way-point.
It was hard going. Every depression that had or could have held water with steps I had to stop and check out.
Lots of lizards and rabbits down here, so they must be another way out as rabbits are not great climbers. Right after I had something to eat around noon, Jaw-Bone got nailed by a rattler.
I'm hoping he can shake it off, best if we camp here for the rest of the day while I work on his leg and keep him off of it.
After I did what I could I decided to walk a bit. I gave the mules some feed so they would not wander off. After walking close to a half hour I came to a small basin of water. at the other end of the basin was the steps. This was in a small dead end canyon. So far everything fit. To the right was a trail that would lead me out of here. There was no way around the water, the sides were too steep for the mules. We would have to go through the water. Hope it's not deep.. Now to find the cross. The sun light was bouncing off the walls and right now I couldn't see anything. I'd wait a while.
I went back and got the mules and set up camp here. So far I can't find the cross, but my gut tells me this is the right place..
Maybe the viewers can find the cross for me? If not I'll find it before the next chapter when The next way-point is "2nd water"
To be continued..

Super terrain and pov; great water too - try less bump on the surface and move the sun slightly to make it darker
