Description
Far away from all the stuff I created with Poser here comes my first contribution for Renderosity's 2D-Gallery.
It all started when I was ten years old. I saw Steven Spielbergs masterpiece Schindlers List for the first time. But because of my age it was quite difficult for me to understand the coherences of that very dark, cruel and sad chapter of German history displayed in this movie.
Now after seven years, with a way more bigger knowledge about this time, I watched the Schindler's List DVD which just hit the stores today, for a second time. Of course I saw it with comparatively other eyes than I did it the first time.
What Oskar Schindler did during his abidance in Germany. He saved the lives of about 1200 jews by ceasing them into his factory which protected them from their sure death.
So after watching the film I switched off the DVD-Player and suddenly there was something in my mind that wanted to come out. I started Photoshop and created this very simple wallpaper. But though its simplicity there's a bit of Schindlers List and passion in it. During the design of this piece the OST of the film sounded continously though my pc-boxes and expressed Itzhak Perlmans indescribably wonderfull violin solos.
