Description
Yeees, the Perkalator, I believe the name was derived from the fact that she can put some steam in your steps. Originally designed just to be phone jockeys until a few co-workers got lonely and began stealing them.
Lots o work on this one. It looks sorta simple but a lot of back n forth between progs and lots of rendering. Office .hdr used with another grungy backdrop made in Photoshop.
The terminator skeletal system was downloaded a long time ago, I wish I had the name to give credit. This lighting made it really look realistic, I was blown away on the initial test render.
The cracks in the subjects outer shell is actually an alpha channel on the texture then applied to the color in Cinema 4D. This way I could use the alpha again without having to model it painstakingly.
