According to some belief systems, we are reincarnated... and before birth... their is a period of madness.
It is this that keeps us from remembering our past life... or something like that - I can't remember...

Hi Hewsan. I see many, many faces in your piece, and many , many eyes, and maybe the endless search for what lies beyond, is it the birth of the human form or the birth of some other form? A secret to us all . An awesome figure he makes, as he stands guard over his dominion . Excellent detailing and the darkness of the inner part is very foreboding. <<<<<<<<<<

Love this and the thoughts behind, yes we have to pass the river of forgetting, I think we could not live our lives if we remembered. The image reminds me of all possibilities we have, but not use. We are endless but cannot see it.

WOW! Now this is an impressive image! I can see lots of faces in there too but mostly the figure, or shape, of some kind of a spirit, in the middle! Very complex and interesting image Hewsan! So many different interpretations here....

I've heard accounts of some children still remembering their past life up to about 6 years of age. Then it vanishes. Could it be by then the indoctrination of the current life takes full control? Wonderful, imaginative work depicting pre-reincarnational madness.
