Description
I was recycling some outdated cans of paint, which in New York City you must first dry out before disposing of. I usually dump them all into a plastic container and mix with kitty litter, or sand to help the drying process.
This time I planned to photograph the results. After viewing the macro images I shot what I saw, all in same container, was the chronological history of our planet. Images appeared ranging from the origins of life to the destruction of our planet by war and industrial capitalism.

Not in the same league as the first 3. But: how demanding can I be. You spoiled me. I don't like the framing, nor the inset. One inhibits the intensity of the picture, and the other is sheer distraction. The idea of centuries of bleeding is in the picture, but it is flat. No visceral impact.
